Take your skills to the next level with one-on-one coaching with Colby Fastpitch's lead coach Wendi. Work on Pitching, Fielding, Batting or a combination of the three with an elite coach.
Most people watch a softball pitcher and think the motion is easy and simple to master. If you’ve ever tried it, you know that’s a false statement. To learn how to get your body to consistently throw accurate pitches with systemic weight shifting footwork and shoulder movement is not for the faint at heart. This position takes hours of dedication and hard work multiple times a week. Colby Fastpitch specializes in this position and will teach basic to advanced pitching techniques and mechanics that will help all levels of athletes. All good teams have a star on the mound- maybe that can be you?
Hitting is one of the most, if the not the most, important parts of Softball. Developing a hitting technique, understanding timing and grasping the hand to eye coordination must be developed and learned. Being a strong hitter is a significant part of an athletes all around performance. Lessons at Colby Fastpitch will teach enthusiasts about hitting, having confidence at the plate and increasing your batting average. We will focus on grip, hand position, swing, contact and follow-through.
Fielding is an important part of the game of Softball. Learning the proper mechanics of catching, executing an overhand throw, fielding ground balls and fly balls is what Colby Fastpitch will deliver on. Having the right grip on the ball, arm and body position will help athletes have long term success.

All good pitchers have a few things in common, a strong work ethic, great fundamentals, leadership and a will to win. Pitching is a mental game that is won even before the batter steps up to the plate. You have to believe you’re going to win the battle every time, this comes from preparation, sweat equity and the confidence as you put in the hard work to become the best player on the field. Pitching is a position where you can shine as an individual and if you have a solid team behind you that’s a bonus. My philosophy is "if you are not out there practicing, someone else is and when you meet that person they will have the edge."
